Rev. Douglas B. Armbruster
Transitional Pastor
Pastor Doug joined the Calvary Baptist family as Transitional Pastor on September 1, 2022. Simply put, he is helping us prepare for a new pastor in the future, and having a lot of fun in the process! Doug has pastored for 20 years in the Saskatchewan Baptist Association between three churches, and now is blessed to call Calvary Baptist home for however long the Lord allows! Doug graduated from Briercrest Bible College (now Briercrest College), Sioux Falls Seminary (now Kairos University), and has achieved his Public Sector Governance designation through the Johnson Shoyama School of Public Policy. Doug has been married to Jocelyn for 20 years, and together they have a seven-year-old son named Celyn, a cat named Holly, and a Borador named Ben.
Ms. Renèe Embree
Director of Student Ministries
Renèe joined the Calvary Baptist family as an attendee for a year, and then God called her to accept our Director of Student Ministries position! Renèe's role is to lead our youth ministry, coordinate the young adult ministry and oversee our children’s ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Renèe is a graduate of Millar College of the Bible, and is currently writing her dissertation for the completion of her Master's degree.
